HAILA is a platform for exploring the ocean through science, research, field experiences and visual storytelling.
The founder
Huzaifah Haila
Founder of HAILA
Huzaifah Haila is a marine science graduate from City University of Mogadishu and the founder of HAILA.
He is also the founder of Horaad, a fishing company that operates in Somalia with its own boat at sea. He is currently studying entrepreneurship at SIMAD Innovation Lab, and has studied Islamic studies.
Based in Mogadishu, he is passionate about entrepreneurship, leadership and management, and started HAILA to make knowledge of the ocean accessible.
